Pork and Pinot Wine Tasting for Saturday, April 28, 2018

Visit Broad Bay for a lovely cocktail hour with passed Hor d'oeuvres featuring Pinot Gris, Four Action Stations offering select Pinot Noirs paired with chef's innnovative and decadent pork creations along with live acoustic music provided by Club favorite Marty Moore. 

The cost of this event is $40++ per person. 

 

The Pork and Pinot Wine Tasting Menu 

Passing the Pig Around Pre-Celebration feast:
Smithfield Country Ham Biscuit cups, with sautéed Green Tomatoes, Onions and Swiss cheese.
Applewood Smoked Bacon wrapped Figs, stuffed with Honey Goat Cheese.
Paired with Terra d’ Oro, California, Pinot Grigio 2016.
 
Pig & Pinot Feast;
1. Roasted Pork Belly Cobb Salad Tower, comprised of vine ripened tomatoes, avocados, Gorgonzola blue cheese, poached eggs, romaine lettuce, endive, with a lemon garlic dressing.
Paired with Gloria Ferrer, Sonoma County, Pinot Noir Etesian 2016.
 
 2. Cherry Wood Grilled Pork Tenderloin Gyros, served with Hothouse cucumbers, Vidalia onions, with a Sweet mint champagne aioli, wrapped in Naan bread.
Paired with Stoneleigh, Latitude, Marlborough New Zealand, Pinot Noir 2016.

 3.  Spit Roasted Leg of Pork Northwest; served with sautéed baby leeks, asparagus and Northwest foraged mushrooms, accompanied with truffle butter tossed Tater Tots, and Organic Heirloom Tomato and Bacon Jam.
Paired with Rainstorm, Oregon, Pinot Noir 2016.

 4. Bacon! Bacon! Bacon! Dessert Table
78% Dark Chocolate Mousse, with black pepper country cut bacon.
Maple Bacon Chocolate Cupcakes.
Candied Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies.
All served with Dark Chocolate Gelato.
Paired with Maison Louis Jadot, Bourgogne, France Burgundy 2016.​
